90’s rock icon Courtney Love was the muse for many designers on the Spring 2016 runways. They were inspired by her signature grunge goddess baby doll style and that meant models where covered in soft white satin and creamy pearlescent silks. Saint Laurant ran with the rock edge while others like Balenciaga and McQueen took a more romantic twist. Finally the 90’s are starting their comeback because we all need a break from that 80’s mess.
